Gary KuitertGary Kuitert - mandolin, dobro, vocals
Tucson, Arizona

Performing with the Titan Valley Warheads since 1981, Gary is still a regular on the music scene.

His most fond memories of the Cabbage Crik days include the traveling: experiencing how people throughout the country responded to the music and forming enduring friendships along the way.

As for this year’s reunion, he reports having some chills during their “secret” rehearsal in March and acknowledges that his face hurt for days from all of the smiling!

Influenced by everything from The Dillards, Chris Thile, Duke Ellington, Fats Domino, Da Vinci’s Notebook, and many more, music still plays a very big part in Gary’s life.

Don "Buck" LemkeDon "Buck" Lemke - guitar, vocals
Sparta Township, Michigan

Rarely seen on stage these days, Don enjoys playing music around a campfire, on a fishing trip, or in his home.

Sharing a microphone with Dan Fogelberg at the Pioneer Inn in Nederland, Colorado stands out amongst the many fond memories of Don’s days with Cabbage Crik. Apparently, Mr Fogelberg had spent a bit too much time on the barstool before joining Crik up on stage, but what a thrill!

Ecstatic about the band’s reunion, Don knows he has some serious work to do but promises he’ll be ready.

Bluegrass and Irish fiddle tunes are what Don enjoys today, and old time country still pulls his heartstrings.

John VrielingJohn Vrieling - drums, bass, vocals
Cedar Springs, Michigan

Playing drums and/or stand-up bass for Iowa Rose, The Hill People, the Fabulous Eastones, and the Hula Dogs over the last 30 years, John is very active in the Michigan music scene. Right now, he loves drumming with The Last Call Band.

Traveling with his wife, Robin, when he can, John is a drywall finisher/contractor and enjoys Michigan’s seasons.

Michael SmithMichael Smith - banjo, vocals
Leonard, Michigan

Not having played music in public since 1982, Michael is nervous about the reunion tour. However, about two years ago he began playing the banjo again and has enjoyed re-discovering the fun!

Michael has fond memories of passing the hat around at gigs during Crik's first trip out West and loves the Pure Prairie League concert.

His musical influences include: The Dillards, Country Gazette, and the Seldom Scene. His banjo influences are: John Hartford, Alan Munde, John Hickman, and Tom Adams.

Mark SchrockMark Schrock - bass, harmonica, fiddle, vocals
Fennville, Michigan

Playing in an astounding 8 bands today, Mark Schrock is a serious regular on stages across West Michigan. Involved in many aspects of our community, music is his passion.

Mark’s favorite times with Crik were the travels out West – especially the trips to Arizona and Colorado; he’s looking forward to seeing old friends and fans at this summer’s shows.

His most important musical influences are the members of the bands he performs with today: the folks in Jive at Five, Madcat & Kane, Jimmy Dillon and the Werewolves, Iowa Rose, Singapore Drifters, The Schrock Bros, and the Bluecoast Quintet.
